My dear Hannah
Love has already taken posession of my
heart and I have been led to beleive that you would not
be displeased with receiving a few lines from me
I still continue to board at Friend Cruckshanks it is very handy to go to the stage office. It was my feelings that induced me to write to you for indeed they have been such as are not to be express'd. Please to give my respects to W Stokes tell him to please to answer my letter.
Friend Peirces daughter when she was at Home was at Friend Cruckshanks she said that you sent your respects to me I was fearful that you would think that I neglected you by not returning them but I did not see her afterward and it was then before a parlour full of company. believe me to be yours --
